Does anyone remember who sings the R&B song "Always & Forever", I remember it was a band of the 80's but can not for the life of me remember. HELP PLEASE!

The song was originally from 1977 and was done by Heatwave, whose lead singer, J. R. Nicholas, replaced Lionel Richie in the Commodores. It was redone later in the '90's but I don't remember who did it.

Actually, two artists have scored w/ covers of "Always and Forever" here in the '90s. First there was the group Whistle, who cracked the top 40 in the Spring of 1990. Then in the Winter of '95, Luther Vandross also managed a moderate hit w/ his own version of the song...

Thanks. I'm not an R&B freak, so I don't listen to black music much. But I do know that it was done by an R&B artist and I thank you for the info.
