Subject: A REALLY difficult one

Written By: Hans De Witte on 9/7/1999 at 9:54 a.m.

Ok, here goes. If you guys managed to recognize a song with just a couple of 'whoas', perhaps you might help me out...

On MTV Europe there's a commercial for a CD collection called 'Drive', including hits from the 70s 80s and 90s. Now, near the end of the commercial there's a piece from a song which sounds very familiar, but I just can't figure out what it is. It goes something like this: "I am hI-i-I-i-Igh on emotion"

But then again they may just as well be singing something like "high out in motion". They're singing it in a high voice.

For those of you who have seen the commercial, it's the song right after they sing "somehow I'll find my way home" and the man closes his door. After the song, they sing "never known a girl like you before". If somebody could help me, I'd be eternally grateful.

Hans.

"High On Emotion" was by Chris DeBurgh - the guy who sang "Lady In Red"

Yes, that's definitely the song Hans is looking for. Although I myself prefer to remember Mr. DeBurgh for his Summer '83 hit, "Don't Pay the Ferryman", vs. "The Lady in Red"... :-)
