Subject: The Catholic Girls 1982 album has been re-released

Written By: The Catholic Girls on 9/14/1999 at 5:45 p.m.

The Catholic Girls - all girl pop band - that had an great, undiscovered album out in 1982 - has a new CD out on Renaissance Records. The CD is a re-release of the original album with 8 new bonus tracks. Their website is http://skymarshall.com/catholicgirls. The Catholic Girls were way ahead of their time with catchey songs with intelligent lyrics and a schoolgirl look. They had the plaid skirts and the rosary beads long before anyone else and were banned by the Archdiocese of Long Island in 1982 because of the lyrics of "God Made You" which implied God as female.

Check it out 80's fans. They're back!
