Do you remember another version of "One Night In Bangkok" by another band with a female vocal? I think they were called Robey. I sure would appreciate any info on this version.

Yep, Robey was indeed the name, although that version of "One Night in Bangkok" was only a minor hit in the Winter of '85 (i.e., during the early weeks that Murray Head's original was). As you probably know, Robey's song was *not* included on the double-length "Chess" soundtrack, though. In fact, I'm pretty sure their version was just a one-off single; to the best of my knowledge, Robey never released an album of their own. (Although if anyone can prove me wrong on this, I'd appreciate the info!) For nearly a decade now, I myself have been looking for their version of "ONiB" on some sort of '80s compilation, although I've yet to find it on any. I know I could locate a copy of the original vinyl 45, but I could care less about having the song in that format!

I really don't remember this version at all.. I'm sure I must have heard it since I loved the original when it came out.. I'll have to keep my eyes out for it..
