I happened to see Lisa Lisa perform live just 15 months ago, back on June 27, 1998. It was at the "Meadowlands Fair" (an annual Summer event, BTW), held at the Meadowlands sports complex in East Rutherford, NJ. (As you probably know, Lisa Lisa is from NYC, so I assume that would indicate she's still living in the area.) It was a solo performance (minus Cult Jam), where she opened for popular '80s singer Laura Branigan. (It was my first time seeing Lisa Lisa in concert, although I was mainly there to see Ms. Branigan.) I can tell you that Lisa Lisa still has her chops...

As the shows went along that evening, I wrote down the entire set list for both Lisa Lisa & Laura Branigan, as well as some other details, so here's how the Lisa Lisa portion went: It was an 8:00 p.m. show, which was free w/ admission to the "Meadowlands Fair", and I barely managed to get to the stage area at 7:55, which of course was just *five minutes* before the show was supposed to start! Fortunately, I was still able to get a good spot standing just off to the right, about 40-50 feet from the center of the stage. At precisely 8:06, two DJ's from 95.5 FM, WPLJ (the NYC radio station that was sponsoring the evening's show) came on stage to warm up the crowd, and give away a few radio station promos in various audience contests, etc. They then exited at 8:18...

Six minutes later, at 8:24, Lisa Lisa appeared (minus Cult Jam), accompanied by two female backing singers/dancers (both of whom mainly danced during the show, actually). Altogether, she performed seven songs, opening with "I Wonder if I Take You Home", followed by "Can You Feel the Beat", an audience request for "All Cried Out", and then "Skip to My Lu", "When I Fell in Love" (the first half of which she sang in English; the last half in Spanish), "Let the Beat Hit 'Em", and finally, she closed with "Head to Toe" (during which, she and her two female backups had about ten young children from the audience come up and join them on stage to dance to the music). You'll note she didn't perform "Lost in Emotion", which was actually her second biggest hit, after "Head to Toe" (go figure)! They left the stage at 8:58, making it a 34-minute show. And just afterward, Lisa Lisa came out and happily signed autographs for all (although I myself didn't get one).

The same WPLJ DJ's then immediately came back out onto the stage to keep the crowd going with more audience giveaways, etc., while things were being set up for Laura Branigan. LB then went on to give a great 73-minute show that started at 9:23, and lasted until 10:36, when she left the stage for good. Unfortunately, unlike Lisa Lisa, Laura snuck out afterward, and didn't come to meet us fans or sign autographs that evening. :-(

So Lisa Lisa still performs on occasion, anyway, and it was a decent show, considering she had almost no help. (I'll admit I was never a huge Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam fan, even back in the '80s, but I always felt most of her hits were okay.) It wouldn't surprise me if she's currently shopping for a new record deal. I'm sure there are web sites out there w/ more details...
