There was a song in the early eighties, I think it was called "Rock and Roll is King". But here are some of the lyrics:

Oh let those guitars play, play for me, play for me. Oh let that song ring out, it's how its meant to be. etc......

Wamma lamma bamma lamma Rock and Roll is king. She said wamma lamma bamma lamma Rock and Roll is king.

It's by ELO (Electric Light Orchestra). By that time they dropped their string section and became a true rock band and shortened their name to ELO.
