Subject: What is this song?
I remember snippets of it from 80's radio. It kinda sounded like Gino Vanelli's voice, but I'm not sure. Here are the bits I remember:
"...and all the so reassured, with the diseases that can't be cured. Have we really come so far, when we look at where we are?
Send all the rockets into space, we're gonna leave for a different place. So what is it all for? When we don't even know, who lives next door..."
This has been driving me mad for quite a while. What is it called and who sang it?

No, it's DEFINITELY not Europe (Ugh) and I don't think it's Gino (who I don't mind at all). Could it be that this marvelous forum has had it's collective mind stumped? :)
