Subject: whats this mini-series title

Written By: d watson on 11/1/1999 at 6:25 p.m.

I'm not sure this was a mini-series or not , but it aired in more than one night. I believe it was in the late eighties or early 90's. It was a drama concerning some crime in either St. Louis or maybe Kansas city or some reasonable sized city in the U.S.. The opening scene was a group of reporters surrounding some lawyer or some official on the steps of some government looking building, and the reporters were asking questions. It was on one of the major networks. Is there someone who would possibly know of the show or know of somewhere I can search for scheduling from back then?

Being from the St. Louis area, two made-for-tv-movies come to mind. the first involved a judge that lived in St. Louis that had two different wives and basically leading a double life. Oh, and a bonus he had kids by both wives too. That rascal!!!! I'm not sure of the title of it.

The second movie was about Paula Sims, the alleged double baby killer (boooo hissss). She is from the St. Louis metro area, in Illinois. Her and her husband had 2 children, the second of which she alleged killed. Then they had the nerve to have another baby. And they claimed they were robbed and the burglar stole and killed their newborn baby. Yeah right. She's a sicko freak if you ask me. She's rotting behind bars now, thank you very much. Once again i'm not sure of the title of this movie either. Sorry.
