Subject: 2 New Wave songs, I'm stumped
I'm trying to figure out who sang these 2 songs. They're both british pop from about '83 to '85...
The song's name is "Reward" and has a line like "If you can't have it, they can't have it, then I can't have it too...Until I learn to accept my reward!"
The second one has lyrics like "I'm just trying to think of the right words to say. I know they don't come out the way I planned them to be. But if you wait around I'll make you fall for me, I'll promise you, etc.
Anyone out there that can help?

Your second song is "The Promise" from When In Rome. I think it came out in 1989. Can't figure out the second song...
