The station has identified itself as WBOT Brockton. The song has been going for at least three days.

Maybe the station is undergoing a change of format. Where I live a light-rock station was playing the same four songs over and over and the next day the station became a country-music station. And then an oldies station started playing Garth Brooks songs over and over again throughout the weekend, and then they started playing country music the next Monday. (The station playing Garth wised up eventually and started playing oldies again.)

yeah, it's a common stunt for radio stations to pull in the middle of a change, or when they're just starting up.. a local station around here started up commercial free for something like a week straight in order to promote their new "country" format (didn't last long either) which is always better than the same song over and over again

You know what I'm wondering.. is what Tone Loc is going to think in a month or two when he get's his royalty check for the month of December.. you know the writer gets a certain amount of money each time it's aired on the radio.. of course with all the money he probably makes from acting now, it probably won't even register with him...
