Subject: roleplaying games

I would like to invent my own roleplay game using the same playing method as TSR's Dungeon's and Dragon's but the trouble is.....I've never played D&D. Can someone out there give me some advice?

If you've never played it, why do you want to use those specific rules? Ok, I would suggest - quite reasonably - that you either: a) buy the rules! You can get them second-hand in lots of shops if you look hard enough. b) join a RPG-group where they play D&D c) buy the excellent board game "Dragon Quest", loosely based on the D&D rules.

I've made my own RPG too, which was a mix of other games I used to play.
