Subject: Need artist and song title to this..........

Written By: Kusogi on 12/28/1999 at 11:30 p.m.

I was listening to the radio when I heard this song. I don't think it's rock, if it is it must be pop-rock. It has electric guitars, drum, a strong piano, backround singers and a male lead singer singing about an affair he's having with a 16yr old girl. *LOL* I'm just curious. Here's some lyrics, I rembered the chorus:

[some lyrics I remembered, the piano and backround singers are distinctly heard throughout the song] "She's just 16 yrs old leave her alone they say." "Separated by fools who don't know what love is yet." "And I would wait to the end, time for you and do it again it's true." [chorus] "If I could fly I'd pick you up and take you into the night and show you a love like you'd never seen ever seen."

YES! It most definitely is "Into The Night", by Benny Mardones. I have it and it is a great song! It came out in 1980 when I was in the 8th grade.
