Gee, there are so many great songs from the 80's. Though, I'll go with "Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds.....

My personal faves are Dancin' in Heaven (no idea who sang it), Dress You Up by Madonna (the Queen of the 80's), Let's Go Crazy by Prince and Livin on a Prayer by Bon Jovi. Good luck!

"Africa" by Toto.

You should go to http://www.inthe80s.com/topten.shtml. It is on this site. Just go to music, then scroll down to Top 10 lists, and look under "Top 10 Songs by Submissions." There are a whole bunch of different people's lists, which hopefully will give you plenty of info for your report. Good luck.

come to think of it, the first 100, were totalled by me, by hand.. I should see if I can still find the spreadsheet.. it got to be too much work to try and maintain it, hence I let it go..

I just found the link on the site to the totalling page, can't believe I've left this on the site.. man is it old.. you want proof this site is older than dirt, it's for the end of the year 1996. The people who submitted those first 100 lists probably haven't even revisited here since they sent them.. too bad I don't collect email addresses to bug them into returning..
