Subject: I happened to like Mannequin

Written By: Brandy Blentlinger on 2/7/2000 at 9:14 a.m.

For all you guys information I happen to think that Mannequin was a great movie, granted it could never run close to The Breakfast Club (which is my all time favorite movie) but it does run a close second along with sixteen candles. For all of you that may not like it I understand but please keep that to yourselves.

I loved Mannequin as well, but I would put Pretty in Pink before it. I liked St. Elmo's Fire too--in fact, I would like to see Andrew McCarthy in movies now. I think he would be a great romantic male lead like he was in PiP or Mannequin. I would swoon just the way I still do when I see Pretty in Pink (which I own). My friends and I used to melt over the way he held the girl's face as he kissed her. Come to think of it, I even liked Fresh Horses!
