Subject: Do you remember...
a show from the early/mid 80's. I think it was called Dr Fad, and they showed all the fads from the past and future (the seemed to focus on slinkys, for some reason) it was on really early in the morning (before 8 am) so it's not listed in the sites tv guide thing.. does anyone remember this?

yeah, it probably focused more on the wacky wall walkers than it did the slinkys... Dr. Fad was the creator of it, and he would also introduce new inventions and demonstrate new inventions from kids in the audience.. unless I'm thinking of a different show..
if it was on before 8am, it was syndicated, which means it would have been on different times in different spots.. though I remember it being on fairly early in my area too, like 6 or 7 in the morning.

YES !! Oh my God ive been trying to remember the name of that show for 8 years.............. I remember one specificaly ...when the audience members had 'air conditioned jeans' and they were just shrdded all over the place

actually, that could have been Silver Spoons >grin< I remember an episode of that when the whole ripped jeans thing was huge, and Ricky Schroder had his jeans "professionally" cut, only the number of cuts on one side didn't match the other side and his father wanted to help even him out..
