I need help...there was a tv show that featured a man and his monkey...I think it may have been "Me and Maxx" but I'm not sure...If anyone knows the name of the show that stared a man and his pet chimp...please let me know where i can find who the actor was...Thank you

I swear I have answered this question before, it was BJ & The Bear ran on NBC circa 1979-1981 starring Greg Evigan who even sang the theme song, it had a spinoff the Misadventures of Sheriff Lobo which gave Nell Carter her first start.
