Subject: finding the name of cartoon

Written By: omar on 2/23/2000 at 6:19 a.m.

Hi! Great set-up! I was wondering if you can find out the name of a cartoon that was on in the 80's. It was about a gang of, I think five boys trying to take a girl(which they thought was a boy to his own planet across the galaxy. They had a big ship that had parts that came apart to fight the enemy (havn't a clue of their name. When they needed help their ship all joined together and made a big robot which all I can seem to remember was that it was red and grey and it had a big X in the middle of it's head. In the title sequence it was seen standing on a moon punching the ground. I've been searching for this since I was fourteen, some sixteen years ago. BLOODY HELL! HAS IT BEEN THAT LONG! PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! CAN YOU TELL ME OR DO YOU KNOW A PERSON WHO CAN?
