Subject: Big Dipper and The Embarrassment

Hey Big Dipper is going to be on a 80s K-Tel record coming out soon. Any fans of these two great bands of the 80s? If anyone has any flyers or pictures of these bands I would be intersted in them. The Embarrassment put out a 50 song cd called Heyday about three years ago with all their cool songs. Its a must have for fans. Even if you have never heard of them, check it out cause The Embarrassment influenced so many bands today............including REM........who are huge fans. Freedy Johnson has said in interviews The Embarrassment were his first fave band. I might also add that the drummer for The Embarrassment named Woody went on to join the Del Fuegos and Bill Goffrier joined Big Dipper. later,

Mark

I forgot to add this link to an extensive web site with the history of the band. http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~wall/embos/embos.html
