Subject: Chick Bands (go gos etc...) 80s......

Written By: Totally Twilight on 3/1/2000 at 5:12 p.m.

Its unfortunate there arent any chick bands (pop rock, new wave) like the go gos and bangles ..... I like when they play instruments and stuff.....

the pop world is open again i.e spears ..aguilara... etc... when ever a trend comes along that happens to do good ....labels are always lookin to jump on the bandwagon.....

Listen...All it really would take is for ONE band that plays 80s style pop or rock....to somehow make it big on mtv (just like how the boy groups ..and girl singers have) Once that happens and the big wigs see that it starts an explosion.......that will open the door for others ..........I hope this can happen............

also.....If one of these Girls like britany or Christina aguilara would make a Video and song (on purposes) paying tribute to the 80s and 80s style ...and sound of music that would be so freekin awesome

... Spears a Go-Go's...

Well, I think you're right! It would help a lot if some stars would use 80s style elements! I also hope that the 80s will come back, but there will be certain changes! E.g. here in Germany we do have a band called AND ONE (www.andone.com). They do Mode like music, it's similar to the 80s, but it has new elements which doesn't make it bad, but it's different! I think it's the way things are going! We can't turn back time... but, well, maybe some day there will be a DeLorean and I will be the first to jump back in time!

Yours, Tobi
