Subject: Jean Nate'

Have you guys noticed that Jean Nate' products continue to appear on discount store shelves (Walgreen's, etc.)? Who is continuing to buy this stuff? Who keeps this little-product-that-could in business, in a world of so many bath and body products? I was just at Walgreen's this evening buying school supplies, and I saw the big bottles of splash, the body powder, and even a moisturizing body wash. I started singing the jingle and picturing the commercial with the woman getting out of the shower and pouring huge handfuls of Jean Nate' splash and dousing it on her legs and stomach (these were the days that "splash" didn't come in a spray bottle). In the spirit of the 80s, I bought some of the moisturizing body wash. I encourage the rest of you to do so too.

Long live the 80s!!

How did the jingle go, let Jean Nate' after bath splash take charge of your life. I think I watched to much TV (in the 80s).

All I remember is the backup singer(s) doing this little half-sung-half-whispered refrain--"Jean Nate'!" "Jean Nate'!"
