Your "mystery song" was actually a male/female duet, and is titled "The Last Time I Made Love", by Joyce Kennedy & Jeffrey Osborne, a moderate hit here in the U.S. in the Fall of '84. It was off of Kennedy's 1984 solo album, "Lookin' for Trouble" (she was w/ the group Mother's Finest). Unfortunately, the album is long out-of-print, and has never been re-issued on CD here in the U.S. However, "The Last Time I Made Love" was recently included on Osborne's 1999 solo hits collection, titled "Ultimate Collection", which is still in print on CD today...
