That would be "Do They Know It's Christmas?", the charity single recorded for Ethiopian famine relief by the huge group of popular U.K. recording artists known as Band Aid...

I assume you mean the song that was #1 for Christmas 1984.

The #1 song the week of Dec. 22, 1984, and Jan. 5, 1985, was Madonna's "Like A Virgin."

There really is no "Christmas #1" because Billboard magazine didn't publish an issue that week, but that's the closest to what you want.
