Subject: Looking for a song & artist.

Written By: Carlos on 3/19/2000 at 9:29 p.m.

I'm looking for the artist of a song called "There for the Grace of God go I". It's a disco song that I used to play when I DJ'd back in the 80's.

The opening lines are "Carlos and Carmen DeValle, just had a child, a little girl with a crooked smile..."

For some reason I can't remember the rest of the lyrics or who sang it. PLEASE someone help me find this song. My wife is driving me crazy! Of course, you must know that her name is Carmen, my name is Carlos and we do have a daughter with a crooked smile.

PLEASE e-mail me soon. Use "I found your song!" on the subject line.

Thanx

The group is called Machine and there were 2 versions of it. A "clean" one for radio, and a racially charged one. I could never find the racially charged one in stores, but I prefer the "clean" one anyway as no one got offended.
