Subject: "Telephone" by ???
There was a great (okay I thought it was great) 80's song called "Telephone" that wasperformed by a Swedish group as I recall. The lyrics included: "I know that it's late, and I don't want to wake you up.But I can't sleep, can't get you out of my mind..." I am dying to know who sang that song, and any information as to where I could find it. Please, please let me know if you have any information. Yes, it was STYLE. I've been seriously looking for years and can only find it on 12". I do however have their Best Of cd, but the version of TELEPHONE is in Swedish.

I know Kraftwerk did a telephone song, it was in the 80's, and the band was German...sound close? Anyway, to the best of my recollection, the lyrics didn't go exactly as you said but were pretty close. Check it out and let me know if I'm wrong. Trying to help!

Angie- Thanks for the help. I do not think it was Kraftwerk (although I love that group, and in fact another song I am trying to find is "Tour de France" by that group.) I am almost certain the group was Swedish. I will post it once I find out.

I found out the song I was looking for, "Telephone", was performed by a group called "Style" (not to be confused with "Style Council." Thanks for everyone's input.
