To any Richard Dawson fans out there.....My elderly mother lives with me and is a real fan of the late night game show channel. She especially enjoys Family Fued reruns. Her question is, "Is Richard Dawson alive or deceased"? Thank you for any information you can give.

I'm also relatively sure he is still alive. I think where the confusion comes in for some is that his replacement host on "Family Fued" (some person named Ray something) hung himself.

I checked with my mother who is also elderly. She says she remembers something about him in a recent National Enquirer. To the best of our knowledge, he is still alive, but retired from the public eye. Don't forget he also played Newkirk in "Hogan's Heroes"
