NBC canceled "Freaks and Geeks." This is an article on the show and how fans are mad about it being canceled. If interested it tells you who you can e-mail to complain.

Remember! If it's not a show about 20-30 somethings whining about income, the car they drive, relationships, etc...it lasts for an 8 show run!

I figured as much last week when I saw one of those newsmagazine shows that seem to be one every other hour..

I hate to be the one to dash anyone's hopes of reviving this show, but let's face it, network television is pretty much home to lame sitcoms, game shows, and endless repeats, the stuff of the lowest common denominator..

the best, and ULTIMATE we could hope for is for a cable channel that does it's own original programming like USA (well, ok, bad example) to pick it up and run the original episodes and sign up for some new ones.. maybe Lifetime.. it's not really a woman's oriented show, but it could probably fit into their network.. heck, they used to show the Commish (do they still?)

the production quality of the show was great, and it is an hour long show, but it can't be out of the price range of a decent cable channel.. I gave up on network TV ages ago.. the best shows are on Cable now anyways.. The Sopranos, The Daily Show (I actually like Jon Stewart more now than ever), South Park, Daria (the only thing fun on MTv), etc..
