I recall a song from (probably) the early 80's with the following lyrics:
"Melody danced her way right into my heart. Melody stole my heart and danced away..."
It seems to me the "narrator" of the song lived in an apartment below this girl who danced and who had a boyfriend who "used to beat her almost every night".
Does anyone know the artist and the name of the song? I thought it was called just "Melody" but since I can't find any reference to a song by that name anywhere, I figure I must be wrong.
