Does anyone still have big hair? Wash that hairspray out. It's over.Get rid of those damn stone-washed jeans too. I've seen you, I know you're out there.

Oh, man...you are bringing back one of my more embarrassing memories of the 80's. I found a picture of myself from about '88 the other day - whoa! I didn't realize my hair was ever quite THAT monstrous! I looked like a buffoon! Not to mention the fact that, by the time the 90's rolled around, my hair was so dead from being teased, sprayed, permed. streaked, colored, and eveything else, that after I cut most of it off, it took a looong time to grow it back healthy again! And - I also remember wearing HUGE earrings! I have finally learned: less is definitely MORE!

I agree. Some people still live in the past. How do you explain the belbottoms and platforms from the 70s. Move into the NOW people!

The girl who cuts my hair still has HUGE 80's bangs. They go at least 4" straight up. One day I asked her about them. She said back when she was in highschool they were REALLY big. I asked if I could touch them, and it was like deja vu. They were as stiff as the bangs of girls I went to highschool with 10 years ago.

If big hair gradually became a popular style again

you'd all be wearing it...

It's nice to hear I'n not the only one willing to rejeuvinate the thrift store/punk girl look. (a la' Cindi Lauper)A few months ago, a local movie theater reran "Fast Times at Ridgemount High", with a 80's costume contest to boot. You can bet I got dressed up! Granted, I looked like a twenty-something Punky Brewster, but with a big smile!

I seriously doubt it. I didn't have big hair in the 80s and I don't intend to start now.

I have to admit that I did have big hair in the 80's. I look at pictures of myself and say "what the hell was I thinking". It would take alot for me to go back to all that hairspray and teasing. I do not have that kind of free time anymore.
