Subject: Family Ties

Written By: C. on 4/10/2000 at 8:05 p.m.

Hi there, I am interested in purchasing some of the family ties old and classic episodes(which could be all of them) I am really interested in is Alex loses a friend in a car accident and plays out different scenes with family members and the friend that passed. It seems to be a live set with lights lowering and rising on sections of the stage. Any info I could get would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I loved family ties....and that is my favorite episode.

The name of the episode your are talking about is called "A, my name is Alex (Parts 1 & 2)" I know it originally aired as a one hour episode..but I have recently part 1 and part 2 separately......hope this helps.

I found the series on video at columbiahouse.com. It's in classic series under Drama.
