does anyone remember this band? Their hit song was "10,9,8" What was the singers name? She had a brief solo career but nobody cared. I thought it was Aimee Mann but she was from til tuesday. This has been driving me nuts for 2 days now.HELP!

More useless trivia: The band performed under the name "Fire Inc." in the movie Streets of Fire and Diane Lane lip-synched over Laurie Sargent's voice.

If you remember the movie at all, (it's actually pretty good - great soundtrack at least) it's probably for its hit song - Dan Hartman's "I Can Dream About You"

Laurie Sargent was the lead singer. I think they put out two major label albums. Here in Boston, she still does shows time to time. Great one hit wonder though.
