Subject: 80's Slang

Written By: Kelly K. on 4/19/2000 at 4:47 p.m.

In middle school in the early 80's I remember using the slang term "Chin". We used to stroke our chin and say "ooh, chin" to people. I can't quite remember what it meant. I think it meant either "shame on you", "haha, i fooled you", or "screw you". I can't recall, does anyone else remember this, or was this just a North Carolina thing? Also, does anyone remember using the term "General Lee" as slang? I wasn't sure if that was just something my brother decided to make up after watching too much Dukes of Hazaard. Let me know! Thanks!
