Subject: Help I.D.: Jam on it?

Written By: steve on 4/24/2000 at 4:07 p.m.

Since I got such an awesome(totally) response on the last one, I'm upping the ante. Does anybody know:

It's an early techno/sample/keyboard type of deal. A breakdancing song, perhaps. I though it was called "Jam On It", but have found nothing by searching. I do know that "jam on it" is a lyric in the song, but it sounded like they were saying "ja-moan-y." Pre-1985, I think.

I know that isn't much to go on, but I have faith in you.

Thanks.

Hey there, I think the song you are thinking of is "Jam on it" by "Newkleus" (they spelled there name funny and that may be wrong)

it was Newcleus, it was featured in "The Wedding Singer" though not available on either of the soundtrack CDs

I think Jam on it is some of the verse and if I am thinking of the right thing, it comes from a break dance tune called something like Breakers in Space and features on the early Electro compilations of the same name.

jam on the ground and upside down, keep it rocking to the sound of electric sound, check out the groove... (something like that anyway!)

Subject: You're awesome, THANKS!!

Although sometimes it's scary to think of all the useless crap that clogs our brains.
