Subject: PSA from the mid-80s.

Written By: Chief on 4/25/2000 at 2:34 p.m.

I just remembered a PSA from the mid-80s, It featured this boy returning home from school, but when he opens the door to his house, purple lights shine around him, and this group of teenagers start advancing towards him chanting something like "You gotta do something now!" or something like that. The chanting gets louder until the boy is back outside his house. He opens the door, and I THINK his mother greets him...that's all I remember though. I am not sure if this commercial is about drugs or not, I was going to post it under the Commercials section, but I need more information. Does anyone remember this commercial? Much help is appreciated. :)

was this one of those "Church of Latter Day Saints" PSA's that had something to do with stealing?

Oh yeah! I think I vaguely remember the boy returning something, and was afraid of the woman accusing him of stealing. This commercial is not to be confused with the one in which a girl at a recital took an older girl's necklace. I beleive it started out with a girl looking glum, and music singing "Feel so dark inside, feel like I want to cry.." and the older girl frantically shouts "Where's my necklace?!" The younger girl walks up to the older girl, hands her a necklace and says "I took your necklace...I'm really sorry." The older girl then hugs her and says "That's ok!"
