I have recently been watching Family Feud on Rogers Cable Ch.124. These are the old ones starring Richard Dawson. I know that there was another host by the name of Ray Combs????. What ever happened to him?. I heard he passed away, is this true?. Jennifer..Toronto, Canada

the story is actually much sadder than that.i remember when it happened, and i also caught some of the E true hollywood story. He was paralized in a near fatal car accident, went crazy, and his wife of many years left him. when it happened i heard he killed himself by repeatedly bashing his head against the wall until he died.years later i heard he hung himself but i dont see how since he was paralized.Either way yes he is dead.

He committed suicide on June 2, 1996. Hung himself in a closet. He was diagnosed as a manic depressive. No rumor. Peace brothers and sisters.

Ray Combs hung himself. Not rumor. I remember it being on the news.

I believe that Ray Combs committed suicide. But, this may just be one of those rumors that go around when someone who's not a huge celebrity dies. I do know that he's dead, though. Viv
