Does anyone here chat? I've never, yet. If so, when? where? I have gone to the 80s chat room many times and no ones ever there. or is chatting just stupid?

Most of the time I don't have time for a real-time chat, since I am here at work. When I do chat, I tend to go to the chat rooms set up by my e-mail provider. That can be unpleasant sometimes, occasionally you get someone who is abusive or is adamantly trying to change the subject. That's where the *ignore* option comes in. I'm not familiar with the type of system here.

i've only ever chatted in a few aol rooms before. but, i've usually had a bad experience 'cos most people have been going to chat rooms for years & they all know each other & aren't very open to new people. but, i'd definitely be interested in chatting here if everybody who wanted to set up a time to meet & chat. As for the chat thing, I would be interested too. I can't seem to find any decent chat rooms. I am 27 and I find myself looking in the 40 something rooms in hopes of finding intelligent conversation - I've had no luck.
