Subject: GUNS 'N' ROSES SONG

Written By: Penny on 5/17/2000 at 3:07 p.m.

A few days ago I heard on a music show a stunning Guns'n'Roses song. It was from the 90s and the video was very sexy. The song wasn't exactly a ballad, it was rhythmic, lively and sexy. OK, I know these clues are not enough, but please give me some ideas!

I'm thinking of "Sweet Child O'Mine" too, but you said it was from the 90s, so that would eliminate it. Are you sure it was from the 90s? They made two different videos for it, but they both feature the band in what looks like a practice session. The two videos used the same general footage--but the second one seemed to have more color and less black and white. I think MTV played the first video so much that they needed to mix it up a little! :-)

Anyway, it could definitely be "November Rain" too, which was from the 90s. That video featured a wedding between Axl Rose and model Stephanie Seymour (his then-girlfriend) that was rained out. Axl, if I remember correctly, turns the table with the cake on it over. That video was not really very sexy, as you say, but that is purely subjective. :-)

hmmm..they didn't do a lot of ballad-type songs. It's not "November Rain", is it?

The only other "ballad-type" songs I can think of that Guns 'N Roses did are "Patience" and their cover of "Knocking on Heaven's Door."
