Subject: EAGLES' AND CREED'S BEST SONG

Written By: Penny on 5/20/2000 at 12:06 p.m.

A friend has talked to me about the Eagles, a legendary rock group. As I know them only by name, I 'd like to download some songs and then I might buy a CD. So, which song do you think I should download first? Which is their most representative, their most successful, their most beautiful, their greatest song? Please give me your opinion also on the Creed's best song. Thanx!

If you're talking about Creed - the 90's band, their best song is "My Own Prison" on the CD with the same name. Their other album "Human Clay" is also a good album. You can't really compare them because Creed is a really great band.

I don't know what's available for downloading for The Eagles, but here's my selections:

Their deepest, most meaningful song is "The Last Resort," a commentary on the exploration of America.

Their prettiest romantic songs are "Best of My Love", "Pretty Maids All in a Row," "Desperado," "Saturday Night," and "Take it to the Limit"

I know that's more than one, but I'm a big Eagles fan and those would be my top picks. If you only download one, I'd go with "Limit" or "Resort."
