Hi I need help, I am doing a report on the 1980s I need information on sports and leisure activities of the 1980s

What the people in America did for fun.

Well, we cruised a lot with the stereo blasting :) And before the advent of Atari we actually went to the arcade to play Pac Man and assorted other video games. Later there was hacky sack, which was an absolute waste of time. There was a lot of pool time during the summers too, and of course Dungeons and Dragons could waste an entire Saturday.

If you are talking about adult leisure time, then it seems to me that everybody's dad played squash and took Chinese cooking lessons. Or maybe that was just my neighbourhood.

For me, I agree with Wicked Lester, the 80s meant lots of cruising with mixed tapes of Def Leppard and Whitesnake. Also, we played way too much mini golf and pool, and went swimming so often we were prune wrinkled.
