Subject: Anyone Remember names of girl toys from the 80's??
I'm just triing to figure out what many of my toys that I had when I was younger are called. Here are a few discripitions:
Dolls with a heart on their cheek, you put a packet in water and you would find out if it was a boy or girl.
Little toys maybe a liitle bigger than polly pocket I think they were called precious something. You would have a magnet key to put under the little toy roads and it would move the people. There were houses that had lights in them but remember these were very small.
Turtle like toys they were different colors they had a matching baby in their back.

The second thing you described was a mansion called Precious Places. The characters had magnets on the bottom and you could move them around the house with keys. The keys also operated stuff like the lights, and secret panels. The turtle-like creatures were called the keepers. They had a lock on their back and you opened it with a key. Inside its back, was a little creature.

> The only thing I can remeber is "Fashion Plates". It had various plates (plastic) for a women's face/hairstyle,top, and bottom. You could place the plates in a holder creating different looks with the colored pencils it came with.

The first toy is a magic nursery baby. At least, I'm pretty sure of that. That's all I can remember. Sorry!
