Subject: THE THE....The Smiths

Written By: Dan Nero on 11/09/98 at 10:07 a.m.

Happy Monday all,
I was wondering if anyone out there were listeners of THE THE. They were so great. The band was pretty much Matt Johnson and his first couple of albums were great. "Soul Mining" and "Infected".
While I was reminiscing about The The I remembered that later in their career Johnny Marr joined them...guitarist from The Smiths. I loved the Smiths. Stop me oh ho ho stop me, stop me if you think that you heard this one before.
Any other Smiths fans out there...How soon is now is still one of my favorites!
Have a good day all,
Dan

Dan "Smartest Man in Missouri" Nero,

Speaking of The Smiths, do you or anyone else know where I can locate and download the musical stylings of said group? I need this information badly.

Thank you,
Alan Thicke

The The's INFECTED is one of my all-time favorite albums! And The Smiths? Took me a while to get past Morrisey's whining, but I finally did. Now I consider them to be one of the best 80's bands.
