Subject: Forgotten 80's star

Does anyone remember a guy named Charlie Sexton? He was a true 80's rocker. Complete with new wave hair and everything. I just found out that he has a new record out under the name of Charlie Sexton Sextet Band. He also has a song on the Quentin Tartentino film "True Romance" called Graceland. All you 80's fans should check out his first album "Pictures for Pleasure" its a real 80's gem.

He is on one of the Just Can't Get Enough comps. I don't recall which volume (14 or 15), but the song is "Beat So Lonely". I remember MTV plugging as the new best thing for a while and then he vanished.

I did a little research on Charlie Sexton. He only had one song that made it into the Top 40. The song was called "Beat's So Lonely". It made it up to #17 on the charts in February of 1986. I can't remember how the song went.

Little known fact: Charlie Sexton appeared in "Thelma & Louise".
