New wave music (Police, Duran Duran, etc) remember V66, the video channel?
The A -Team, Dukes of Hazard, Miami Vice, Love Boat, Happy Days, BMX bikes, Fun Dip, Big League Chew, First Blood Pt II, punk rock (Black Flag, Iggy Pop), That was then.. this is now, Rocky IV, Van Halen records, AC/DC tapes, those are just a few things that are embedded in my mind from the 80s.

I still love Duran Duran to this very day. There are my family. I was at the
Duran Duran concert last year and i was screeeeeeaming my head off.
The 14 year old teenage girl that had been buried inside me for years emerged
and completely lost control. After the concert me and a friend I haven't seen
in years who happen to be there went searching every hotel in town
for the Duran Duran members. We went up to every limo driver in the area
and asked" Is Duran Duran in there! One of the limo driver said. Wait isn't
that a band from the eighties. Those guy are loooong washed up." They may
be washed up from the radio and video world, but in my world they are still
number one, in addition to the others. I will love Duran Duran forever!
