I saw them in Pueblo, Colorado in June 1982..Denver in November of 1983....AND saw them last Summer in Cripple Creek, CO....they still sound great!  After the show they sat curbside and signed autographs :)  I picked thier first hit..."Turn Me Loose", although I like them all....

I picked When It's Over but I do like Working for the Weekend and Loving Every Minute of It (not on list). I saw them in Concert many, many moons ago. They were good.

My vote was for "Take Me To The Top" - I LOVED that song!  Brings back memories of junior high/freshman year and hanging around with my friends that were a "bad influence".

I love Heaven in your eyes. I think it was a soundtrack to Top Gun - Not sure though.

I always really liked Loverboy.  I saw them in 1983 and they put on a GREAT show.  I was also lucky enough to talk to Mike Reno and Scott Smith on a radio show called "Rockline" the same year.  (I sounded like a complete moron, but hey, I was 15 and excited.  ;D)  They were both really nice.  :)

And my pick was Take Me to the Top.

That's awesome, Koop! I also saw them in '83...and '82, and last year in Cripple Creek. They set up at a table afterwards and everyone that wanted autographs got to shake thier hands and talk to them! They are very nice people :)

Too cool!!  It's a shame that bands and singers don't really do things like that anymore.  I guess that it's not good for their images.  ::)  I remember bands doing meet and greets at record stores all the time in the 80's and before.

Almost Paradise

That one too.

BUMP

Another one of my favorite underrated 80's arena rock bands here. "Working for the Weekend" is, of course, their signature song - the synth/guitar combo with just a teeny bit of new wave was like a slight heavier Cars sound. Of course, the cowbell intro is great too!

However, I picked "Queen of the Broken Hearts" as a favorite - so catchy, and a little more pop oriented. In fact, so much of their mid 80's material -- anything past "Weekend" -- seems to be ignored by radio stations. "Lovin Every Minute, Notorious," and especially "This Could be the Night" are extremely fun and happy, instant 'stick in your head' kinda songs.

Even though "Almost Paradise" isn't technically a Loverboy song (Mike Reno did it with Heart's Ann Wilson) it was the first thing by any of them that I owned, so I gotta hand it to this prom-type power ballad for making me a Loverboy fan.

Loverboy .. now you're speaking my language  8)

My favourite is When it's Over

Did anyone else find it funny in the Hot Girls in Love video, Matthew Frenette playing the drums with the gas pumps?  ;D

I pick ALL LOVERBOY songs.
A true LOVERBOY FANatic knows all the words to all the songs, and there is no way you could only choose just one!!!  I have seen LOVERBOY in concert on average 2 times a year since 1980.  I love these guys!!! They are so wonderful to all their fans.
So to all you true LOVERBOY FANS:
"LOVERBOY..for all the GET LUCKY times you gave us, KEEP IT UP because your fans are LOVIN EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Your music will keep your fans on the WILDSIDE.  SIX more albums would be a grand start to forever being LIVE, LOUD AND LOOSE!!"
I love you all, Calleen
