Does anyone know where I could find a listing of the videos that were in rotation on MTV in the early 80's?  I'm particulary interested in their first 3 or 4 years.  There are a lot of songs I consider definitive of the decade, but they never charted on the billboard charts, so 80's stations and collections often miss them.  You always hear "Our House" by Madness, but you never hear "One Step Beyond", a Madness song/video that was a staple in the early days of the network!   There are all sorts of songs like this; MTV ran their videos almost into the ground, but you'll never hear them on the 80's radio stations.   

After all, there was a lot more to Devo than just "Whip It"! :D

I tried calling MTV way back in 1989 and wanted to know the same thing....they were LESS than kind.  You should try that though...maybe they've gotten better :-\
