Subject: bubble barrettes

Does anyone remember the plastic "bubble" barrettes? They were oval & had a little peg that slid through the middle, kind of a mini version of the 70s leather & wood bun holders. The good ones were made in France out of this plastic that looked like butterscotch, but you could get cheap ones with decals on them at swap meets & stuff. I wonder if they will come back into fashion before the 80s craze is over....
