Subject: Foreigner In The 80's

Between Ballads "Waiting For A Girl Like You" barely edges out "I Want To Know What Love Is" and "I Don't Wanna Live Without You"...as for a ROCKER....I chose "Juke Box Hero" and THAT one gets my vote BARELY ;)

Say You Will....Saw Foreigner in July 2001?...Outstanding. Lou couldn't hit the high notes but he gave 110%. Foreigner also did his solo hit, Midnight Blue.

I'm partial to I've Been Waiting For A Girl Like you, as it brings back those nice squishy memories of skating and dancing with some hot babe. But I really dig the earlier, more rockin' stuff, like Night Life. The songs you DON'T hear on the radio :)

That Was Yesterday. It has a mysterious kinda eerie feeling about it. I like the extended 12" single of it.

My favorite songs by foreigner are "Waiting for a Girl Like You" and "Urgent." I thought I was the only person in the world who liked "Urgent." Good to see some other fans out there. But I had to vote for "waiting" because the music has such a hypnotic effect.

My favorite is Dirty White Boy, then Juke Box Hero. I saw these guys maybe it was 1996,97 at the Warfield in San Francisco, not a big venue & they f*ckng kicked ass. they played loud, hard, they gave it up that night, maybe one of their last high powered performances before the lead singer had brain/head surgery & he was never the same after that. We saw them on one of their better nights, & then saw them again after he had his surgery & the energy wasn't there woth any of the members, it was kind of lifeless.

My favourite is actually "I Want To Know What Love Is", but I also love "Urgent", and since that's lagging behind in the poll, I picked "Urgent".

Those are my two faves as well, but I can't decide which one to pick yet. Also "Waiting For A Girl Like You" a close third.
