I like the lyrics for What is Love best, but the music, lyrics, vocals, arrangement...well, the whole package for Things Can Only Get Better is tops.

Probably a toss up between Everlasting Love and No One Is To Blame, but I really like the fretless bass part in No One Is To Blame.

i have 2 favorites. things can only..... & will you still be there?
both for different reasons. one came out in the summer and the other in winter. my favorite seasons for memorable songs.

January, I bought a Howard Jones compilation, What Is Love and other hits. It was very well done. I have found myself playing What Is Love a lot. Howard was very ahead of his time with his music. It doesn't sound like a typical '80s song; it sounds like it could have been recorded today too. I also like All I Want. My favorite by him is really Like To Get to Know You Well.

I'm a pretty big fan of this guy, but no contest, I had to go with "Everlasting Love".
Not only a good song, but I also loved the video with the two "mummys" (a male and female) walking around on a date. Fits the upbeat new wave feel of the song too.
"No One is to Blame" and "Lift Me Up" (his last semi hit in the early 90's) are pretty high up there too.

I think the message board system has messed up these old polls. It seems I voted for "You Know I Love You Don't You", when in fact I know I voted for "New Song". May explain why that Prince poll was messed up too and listed another song twice instead of "Let's Go Crazy".
