I've always been a fan of Nick's. I loved a segment I saw years back when they were roaming around Sears and Nick put together a suits made of ties and said, "See! I knew I could find a thousand dollar suit at Sears." :)

Oh, and I got a membership at the Y yesterday and it turned out that they were playing Duran Duran's Greatest Hits in the men's locker room... pretty cool.

Now, I wasn't a "real Duranie" as many folks here are, never owned an album of theirs (but I did/do have the 45" of Save a Prayer  ;) ) but I did like them, and I enjoyed most of their music.  I think I bought a "Greatest Hits" cd of theirs when I was grown..but they were everywhere around here, so I guess I never felt like I needed to.  :)

But speaking of John Taylor--I had a friend at school that was totally in love with him.  I remember one day in Junior High she had this whole thing written up about their wedding, and all the kids they were gonna have--she had it ALL over her folders and stuff.  Heck, if I remember right, she'd told me a certain day WAS their wedding day!  I remember thinking "Oh..so you squeezed a wedding into your day between oh, math and science"?  ;D  She was just ate up over that guy.

But, now that I think of it, she didn't show up for our 10 year reunion, so...    ???

Jeez, I see you guys with sports stars up on your walls, and I don't make assumptions!  Of course, they had pin-ups, I didn't.  Only Siouxsie!  And, unlike Martin Gore and Nick Rhodes, Larry Bird and Wayne Gretzky didn't wear lipstick.  Have to wait 'till Dennis Rodman to find that kind of corollary in the sports world.
