Magnum was one of my all-time favorites then. But although I never watched Cagney & Lacey, I think I would like it now.

My little brother and I used to Watch "Magnum" every Thursday, without fail. I still like the show, even though Tom Selleck made a whole raft of horrible movies, and appeared in TV ads for the National Review (retch retch retch).

I dig Magnum, but my FAB is the Crockett/Tubbs duo...and...how about the unforgettable Knight Rider, fellas? That was a COOL show also! I loved K.I.T.T., the car, what a blast! ;D

I also loved Miami Vice....also, do you remember that short-lived show called Riptide? I thought it was pretty cool :)

Oh, yeah, Riptide! I remember that! Very short time it was on, though, just like that one that came out around the same time as Vice, about the blonde british guy that would turn into a beautiful black panther, remember that one? That one was very short lived too! :'(

I like Magnum but this post reminds me of the theme song to Cagney and Lacy.
I am a sax player and the theme had one of the best sax intros that I have ever heard.
Would anyone know who it was or if it even exists on tape or cd?

But if I had to chose between the two it would be Magnum PI ....it was a pretty cool show I suppose...
I don't think I ever watched Cagney and lacy except maybe half a show to what it was like...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
