My favorite is Don't Stand So Close To Me. The original version though, not the '86 one. That one's too slow for my liking.

I'm a huge Police fan!  That is one band who would make a killing with a reunion tour!  I voted for "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic."  That song reminds me of my wife!  ::)

INVISIBLE SUN

I love the spooky lyrics and the Philip Glass-style synthesizer drone!

I was always a big fan of The Police, my favs by them are: Can't Stand Losing, So Lonely, Roxanne, Synchronicity I & II, Message in a bottle, Tea in the Sahara, Murder by numbers, ect. I could go on for quite awhile, but for the sake of this post, those are my top picks.  ;D

I've always been a big fan of The Police, but have never been able to get into Sting's solo work for some reason.  Another difficult decision, but I went with "Other".  My favorite also has what is probably the longest song title...."When the World is Running Down, You Make the Best of What's Still Around".

I feel the same way...the band was pretty upset when "Stink" stiffed them >:(

Gaaasp!  You can't do this to me!  Only picking just one?? :P :D ;)

I chose "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic".  One of my friends and I enjoy singing this to annoy people, along with "Mother." ;D

Plus, that's the first Police song I ever remember liking from July of '01, I believe.  (I've known about "Every Breath You Take" for a long time now but I never liked it much.  It's grown on me, though. :) )

Stink!  ;D

I always thought he was given too much credit.  Andy and Stewart, IMO, were much more talented.

Let's face it, they're all good songs. A few more choices would've been nice, though. You should've included "Message In A Bottle", "Spirits In The Material World", "Demolition Man", "Walking On The Moon", and "Tea In The Sahara". But let's not go throwing mud at Sting. After all, he wrote most of the songs, and would you want anyone else singing them? I seriously doubt it.

My favorites are Roxanne, Can't Stand Losing You, Wrapped Around Your Finger, and Don't Stand So Close to Me 86. I usually like the orginals better but for some reason, I do prefer the updated version of Don't Stand So Close to Me.

I can't decided which one of these I like the best.
